CHANGING THE WAY WE SHOP ON EBAY

Splend is an exciting tech startup which provides eco-friendly and affordable cars to on-demand drivers, who work for companies like Uber. Originating from Australia and quickly expanding into thriving markets like the UK and Canada, Splend have approached me to design their global website from the ground up.

Since 1995 eBay has defined a new era of commerce through the art of connection—placing people at the heart of the experience. With increasingly strong competition from the likes of Amazon, the challenge was to establish eBay as go to marketplace for brand new items.

As part of eBay innovation, I created an experience which truly celebrates individuality. One of the core aims was to highlight the vast selection of brand new items available on eBay rather than the already popular second-hand market. Focusing on utilising the brands expressive Fill Your Cart With Colour visual language to allow people to personalise their favourite items.
